Finished recording the record lastnight. Alex Gutto came in and killed it on guest vocals. Now just the mixing and mastering is left pretty much. Thanks to pat hills for helping us out with all of it.Tapes should be ready to go by the middle of next month or atleast in time for our so-cal trip. Hopefully in the near future we can put it to vinyl but we're taking it one step at a time( and there is still the whole "seeing if anyone wants to actually put it out" thing,haha). Either way, keep your ears peeled.

Hey everyone, we are playing January 18th with some rad bands in a basement. Peep it.

Making noise.

Drums and bass are in the bag. Guitars are pretty much done. There a few things john and tony want to add/fix, but its almost there. I worked on vocals for two songs the other night, so recording as a whole is coming along. Currently working on finishing the writing on my end for two songs and then I'll be in good shape. The way we are being able to record is nice because it feels like there is less pressure on time( time=money. Not making money of course but paying money). It helps a lot, especially for myself, because this is my first rodeo with a band and all. We work around everyone's schedule and then go in. So, its a day here, a day there.There isn't a schedule set up where we are saying, "Alright, we got this week booked and thats it. Or, we have three or 5 days,etc." Maybe not the most traditional way but with us right now, that doesn't really matter.

Thats about it for now. January is shaping up to be a good month. There are some fun shows in the works, so we are pretty pumped.

Our Story So Far.

Its about a year ago this month that we first started practicing. Time flies. In this time, we've played some shows here and there. Probably less than we would've liked to but we are working on that. We also picked up Mr John Fleuti on 2nd guitar and he's been making noise with us since spring of this year. Also, we got our finished demo back a few days ago and just in time too, as we start recording a full length in a week. We are all pretty pumped on the idea of laying these songs down. Not sure how it will ultimately be put out but putting it to tape is the first plan for right now. It will be 10 or 11 songs and that includes the 3 that our on the demo. We are still new and it will be cool to have a complete offering of songs so people can make up their own mind as far if they like it, dont like it, what we sound like,etc. We are not claiming to be ground breaking or anything and I could draw out a list of influences and such, but if you take the time to listen or see us at a show you'll get it or you wont. So, hopefully you like it but if not, thats cool too. You either like some bands or you don't, thats how it goes. At the risk of sounding selfish, I am just excited to get these songs recorded and have them for myself.So, thats our brief story so far. Looking forward to what may lie ahead.
